Dan currently volunteers with the following organisations:
- Three Rings – developing software for emotional support and helpline charities; Dan’s launched the original product in 2002 and has lead the development ever since. It’s now used by over a hundred organisations.
- Oxford Friend – providing counselling to the Oxfordshire lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. This helpline has been running for over thirty years, and also offers support to callers via email.
He has previously been a volunteer with, among others:
- Samaritans (Aberystwyth and Oxford branches)
- Aberystwyth Nightline
- Aberystwyth LBGLine
