About the project
This browser extension for Opera enables tight integration with the Auto-Type Global Hotkey functionality of the KeePass password safe, without the hassle of tweaking Opera’s configuration file (only possible in older versions, Opera 12+ prevents the necessary change from being made) or manually installing User JavaScripts.
Installation
Install the extension at Opera Add-Ons.
Or: Download the extension from GitHub and install it by opening it in Opera.
It will begin working on any newly-loaded or refreshed pages immediately, or on all pages after a reload.
You might like to change the privacy settings to ensure that the extension will run on secure pages (without which it’s a lot less use) and on private tabs (if you make use of private tabs).
Usage
With KeePass running as usual, click into the “username” field on any website for which you have credentials saved in KeePass. Press your Global Auto-Type Hotkey (on Windows, this defaults to Left Ctrl + Alt + A). KeePass will fill in and submit the form.
